Michael & Andrea Lewis | The Wedding

With the weather being very unsure, I crossed my fingers hoping that it wouldn't rain in McKinney on the wedding day of Michael and Andrea Lewis. Michael and I used to coach at the same rink but kept in touch because we both love the art of photography. It was an honor to photograph their wedding day full of love and celebration. Andrea looked absolutely gorgeous and Michael looked dapper as ever. We had a good two hours after their wedding ceremony to do a location photo shoot along with my assistant for the day, Denver Tracy of Denver Tracy Graphic Design and former work colleague of mine. I also had the brief opportunity to meet LaDonna Stein, makeup and hair artist. I love how she did her makeup! You can check her out amazing work at Ladonnastein.com. Since 1995, Ladonna has been beautifying women all over Texas with her eye for detail and professional quality service that makes every bride gorgeous on their special day.

The newlyweds will be flying away on their honeymoon tomorrow and I want to wish them the very best in their lives together. Michael and Andrea, thank YOU for giving me this opportunity to share my gift of photography with you and your family. Aloha! :)

Andrea finishing the final details before heading downstairs to walk down the aisle.

Michael catching his breath before reading a love note from Andrea.

A spontaneous moment when we stopped the ice cream truck for a quick photo opportunity.

Capturing a moment in front of an old warehouse that had so much character.

Andrea taking a moment to give Michael a kiss on the cheek. A study in black and white is always classic and timeless.

An old elevator shaft that we found.

This building had so much character and we were fortunate to photograph in the doorway.
