Holiday Hanukkah photos for the Quittner pets.

I had the opportunity to photograph a family that boards their dogs at High-Stone Pet Lodge, a local pet lodge that I take my dog, Akamai, to when we go out of town or for Friday doggie daycare socializing. I met Claudia Quittner, through the owner of High-Stone when I photographed the dogs at the lodge's annual Christmas party. This year, Claudia wanted me to photograph her pets at her house along with a family portrait so that they could order some holiday Christmas photo cards- a service that I provide to all my clients. The lighting was just right being that it was a little over casted- natural filtered light. There were times when we had to take the diffuser out to block the bright sun when it peeked through the clouds every so often. The Quittner pets were just adorable: three dogs- Coco, Big Dog, and Scoobie and their cat Rebecca. Notice they wore bandanas that had patterns of Jewish symbols since their heritage is Jewish.

Rebecca taking in some sunshine.

Big Dog smiling for the camera. He's an adorable big boy.

Scoobie, although he was a little shy, he finally smiled for the camera.

Coco, the one with lots of energy and really enjoyed playing ball with us. I made use of my fisheye lens for this shot.
