Basenji's are gorgeous dogs. They kind of remind me of a taller and skinnier version of a Pembroke Corgi. These dogs are beautiful in their own way and we had the opportunity to meet up with our friend's new family member.

Creative backgrounds for your senior photo session.

Finding different backgrounds for future photo shoots is always a fun past time of mine. I had a fun time driving around different parts of downtown Dallas using my iPhone to capture these different background locations for my senior session. I had a chance to meet up with an old friend of mine, Cori, along with her 6 year old daughter, Molly. The weather was just perfect at the Dallas Arboretum- not too cold, not too hot, but just right. The gardens are absolutely beautiful with a good handful of tulip bulbs that just started to blossom. It wasn't a busy day for a Saturday at the arboretum with a few families taking in the sun rays on a well manicured, green lawn.

Ever since the technology of digital photography became more commercialized, it seems like everyone is a photographer. You have companies like Canon creating some cameras that are consumer based using their amazing digic 4 image processor for many of their consumer based cameras, Apple iPhones that can take amazing photos, and software like Adobe Photoshop Elements that can filter your photos to make them look like a pro took them.
